Preparations for the Little Forest Hills 17th Annual 4th of July Parade & Picnic are getting started! Co-Chairs Celia Naples and Sarah Aston have scheduled the first planning meeting for 7pm on Monday, April 8 at Celia’s house, 8930 Eustis Ave. This is our community’s biggest event and we would love to have your help with the preliminaries.

There are many little things (and a few big things) that need to be done over the next few months. More folks helping means more fun and hopefully an even bigger turnout than last year. A Signup Genius will be out soon for volunteer slots on the days leading up to and on the 4th for both the parade and picnic. What we are looking for now are neighbors who want to help with the planning and groundwork it takes to make this event happen, including soliciting for prizes and donations for our picnic in the park, and help with cleanup and setup.
