LFHNA Readiness Group

Welcome to the LFHNA Readiness Group!

We work on improving the safety, security, and preparedness of Little Forest Hills to be able to weather any size emergency or disaster. Our primary goal is to educate and empower the members of our community to be able to help themselves, their families, and their neighbors with anything from a small splinter or sunburn to a tornado or heavy windstorm.

Have you filled out the LFHNA Surrounding Neighbors Emergency Contact List yet? It's a great way to connect with your neighbors and improve the safety and security of your block! Look in your Jan 2020 newsletter for a copy of the form, or download it here.

To LEARN MORE about readiness/preparedness, check out the links below. There are a bunch of great resources in our area!

  • We highly recommend Dallas Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training to all residents -- it's free and very informative! Contact Dallas CERT Zone 2 (Northeast)

  • Join the LFH Neighborhood Watch -- talk to LFH Crime Czar & VIP Coordinator Albert Barbosa for more details!

  • Interested in Radio Communications? Learn how to communicate even when the power is out or the cell towers are overloaded -- talk to Rich Casey about the White Rock Hams club
